Colorado Cottage Food Act
The Cottage Food Act was passed in Colorado to remove barriers to getting into the food business. This act allows a home baker such as myself to sell my baked goods directly to you with a cottage foods license but without the inspection required of commercial producers and retailers. Despite no inspection, I am expected to follow and adhere to all standards of food handling as directed by the Act. All baked goods are made in my home kitchen and are not intended for resale.
